The ABC's of HSA's
§Health Savings Accounts, often referred to as an HSA is a tax-favored savings account designed to allow for the accumulation of funds to pay for qualified health care expenses and to save for the future.  It works in combination with a qualified high deductible health insurance plan. They were created to help give control back to consumers and lower healthcare costs. HSAs provide a financial incentive for consumers to select a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). HDHPs have lower monthly premiums than traditional plans. The HSA/HDHP combination provides consumers with more incentive to shop carefully for healthcare services.

Flu Season
Flu season is here and usually runs from November to March. According to a recent study over 2000 hospitalizations and up to 650,000 outpatient visits are due to the flu and could be prevented if everyone who needed one got a flu shot. It is also hard to imagine that the “flu bug” would affect the workplace, but it does. Influenza costs the economy $50-100 million dollars per year due to:
